Pacific Solar and Valley Pacific Builders are easily the most professional, most reliable, and nicest contractors we have ever hired. We have used them for large jobs, medium jobs, and small jobs. We keep coming back to them. They installed our solar panels and still monitor them 3 years later. They have done roofing work, indoor electrical work, drywall, exterior wall reconstruction, and more. When we were remodeling and had a major electrical wiring dilemma, I called them for help, and they were out running new wire in 45 minutes. They are extremely smart and understand every detail of construction and residential contracting. We absolutely recommend them. ~ Lori L

Pleasant experience In looking into SunPower residential solar, I did the diligent thing and shopped around. At first, this company was the highest bidder. I was also a little skeptical about the the small amount of reviews online. As negotiations became serious with other companies, Pacific Solar, who I had already dismissed, came in at the end with the lowest bid comparing apples to apples. I purchased my system from them in Summer 2017 and glad that I did. From sales to installation, everyone did a great job and it went as smooth as expected. The only issue I have with the system is with the online monitoring from SunPower themselves (It doesn't read my usage, just production and I often get a "possible error" in displaying data message). Other than that, I enjoy not having to pay PG&E thousands of dollars a year... and the rebate was cool too! ~ jlr70

Recently had the pleasure of working with Project Manager Joseph and his team from Pacific Solar. They each played an intricate role in assisting us with adding on additional solar panels to our current solar system along with 2 backup batteries. Joseph was detailed and took the time to explain the entire process before, during and after installation. His install team was amazing. They were respectful of our time and were able to assist me with additional questions. Since the add on of our additional panels and backup batteries, we have seen a significant decline in our electrical bill. Pacific solar just finalized inspection with the city Clovis. Everything went smooth. Installation team showed up on time, installed 12 panels on my roof and a battery in the garage. installation was professional, no wires or conduits visible on the outside of the house or the roof. All was done in the attic. Crew cleaned up any installation debis. Start to finish took about 6 weeks. I worked with Phil Ortiz on the paper work/ contract portion of the project and Andrew and Enrique and his crew on the installation. Phil and his team were very responsive and punctual. Pacific solar is a locally owned business. Pacific solar estimate beat the big solar companies estimates by at least a few thousands with added perks too!! top notch equipment and top rated solar panels. Pacific Solar installed battery backup storage to my existing solar system and I could not be more pleased with the outcome! Project Manager Joseph DeLeon is very knowledgeable in all things related to renewable energy and makes the technical details easy to understand to enable the right decision. His availability and communication were great from beginning to end. The installation crew were very skillful and took great pride to make sure the new system was installed properly and looked clean and professional. Purchased a large install in 2015 - 70 plus panels. Had a production guarantee which they eventually made good on. Other service is non existent. I’ve lost track of unreturned calls. I’ve had two dead panels for at least two years. Never a return call ever about a warranty replacement. If I could do zero stars I would. Update: I was able to get a hold of the right people and they have done a fantastic job making good the concerns that I have expressed and I’m very pleased with this relationship now. There were misunderstandings along the way but those things happen in business and I am satisfied. ~ Michael D

Working with Pacific Solar has been a great experience. The company is family owned and very trustworthy. They were incredibly knowledgeable and professional in the presentation and explained the process well. There were no surprises or hidden fees in the process and they assisted us in getting a great solar loan. The installation crew did a great job as well. They were timely and took great care to be sure the project was done neatly and cleaned up after completion. We are extremely happy with the solar panels and are loving our new PGE bills!! I have decided to go solar since at the end of the year the tax benefits would be going away. We had put sun power on some of our other rentals and our businesses and being a building inspector I knew that sun power was a good product so I called the 800 number and they put me in touch with Pacific solar. They then had Brennan reach out to me. I had also contacted another company and that person didn’t get back to me as quickly as Brennan did. Didn’t help me as much as Brennan did. He’s is was very helpful, he’s very knowledgeable knows his product inside and out. Any question I had didn’t matter how ridiculous I thought it was he had an answer for it. I’m very happy with the installation and the way everything came out. The layout on the house was great, very clean. They were very professional and I have recommended them to several of my friends Who I know have been in contact with Brenenn. ~ Liz H

Pacific Solar is a great solar company to work with and I highly recommend them. They installed a large carport with 112 panels at our clinic (Madera Veterinary Center). The whole system looks great and we have received several comments about how nice the whole structure looks. We had a very strict deadline and they completed the project on time. Daniel helped us through every step of the process and was incredibly responsive to our needs. I liked Pacific Solar so much I had them install solar panel at my house! We had an excellent experience working with Jose Mendez at Pacific Solar. From start to finish, Jose was patient, professional, and quick to answer any questions. He clearly explained the process, proposal, and all our options. What impressed us most was Jose’s honesty. When we asked for two Tesla batteries, he reviewed our energy use and explained it would be more than we needed. Using his analysis tools, he helped us design the right-sized system and storage plan, something other companies didn’t take the time to do. The installation crew was professional, respectful of our home, and finished the job efficiently. We were concerned about completing the project in time to qualify for the federal tax credit, but Jose and his team not only met the deadline, but they also finished several weeks early. This is my second review of Pacific Solar. They did the solar panels at my business (Madera Veterinary Center) and I was so impressed I had them install solar panels at my house as well. Their sales representative Daniel is great. He is very responsive and gets things done. From the day we said go to the day we were producing electricity was only about a month (mostly waiting on permitting). The entire crew was quick and did quality work. I made worst mistake and got my solar system through incompetent company Amerisun, that did a botched job. They made mistakes in submitting paperwork to PG&E and net meter was turned on after 18 months of installation. In this brutal summer, my nem charges reached $1513, in my panic mode i started outreaching Amerisun and learned that they are out of business and filed bankruptcy. I called multiple other solar companies with emphasis on local company where i could interact with humans and came across Pacific Solar. The tech who listened to my ordeal was very patient and immediately set me up with the diagnostic team member Jacquin Santiago. He showed up on time, was very professional and compassionate to my ordeal. None of the panels were working due to faulty wiring. He completed his job and now i have a working system. For two defective panels, he got in touch with the manufacturer and they will be fixed at no additional cost to me. I am grateful that i found a good local company. We are trying to sell a large ranch with 80 panels of solar. Our original Solar company went out of business. José came out promptly and worked efficiently to inspect all of our solar to provide us with a certification of diagnostics that I could show when I sell my home. The Pacific Solar team did a great job in designing and installing my system expansion. They use a drone to map the roof for optimal system design. The install crew was on time and quickly completed the job. The new system has been operating without issue so far and brought my electric bill back down to net zero including my new electric car charging. ~ David M

Fairly long delay between signing contract and beginning construction but that was probably due to the unusually rainy season. Once they started they stayed on it and got it done rather quickly. Took care of permits and paperwork with no hassle. Installation looks good and produces as calculated so am happy with this company and would recommend them going forward. ~ Paula J

FYI - We had a new roof put on our home by Zinc, Inc. and it was the job of Pacific Solar to remove the old solar panels (Which they originally installed) and put them back on which they did today in a very timely and efficient manner. The guys were fun to chat with, very friendly. My wife and I are extremely happy with the service of Pacific Solar. We easily give them 5 golf stars plus. ~ sandra W
